Our Present

OUR PEOPLE and COMMUNITIES. Approximately 600 reside in the Desert Uplands, living and working on mostly beef grazing properties, or in the small villages and towns that are mostly on the edges of this remote region. There are four national and other private conservation reserves, with small areas of mining now expanding with the opening up of the Galilee Minerals Province.
